Every culture has their own interpretation of how the universe was created. These stories are very diverse in nature and attempt to explain to their people exactly how their world came to be. A common theme permeating through most of these stories is that an all powerful, mystical deity created the world from nothing. No theory of creation can be proven to be the absolute truth; therefore the followers of the different religions must rely only on faith. Through our presentation, we will explore the creation stories of different cultures. We hope to present our information in a nonpartisan manner and urge the readers to keep an open mind when examining views that conflict with their own.
